Information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you fill in a form on this website, such as your name, email address, phone number and organisation. If you apply to volunteer or for a role, we also collect the CV and motivation statement you send. If you allow analytics, we also collect basic information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, browser type and country. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
How we use your information
We use your data to respond to inquiries, process grant and volunteer applications, send program updates (with your consent), and improve our website and services. We never sell personal data to third parties.
Data sharing
We may share information with program partners when it is needed to deliver a service you have asked for. Our website runs on hosting providers who store data for us. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse. If you allow analytics, the tools listed under "Cookies and analytics" receive usage data. We require every third party to protect your data.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small amount of essential storage to make the site work, for example to remember your cookie choice and to protect our forms. Optional analytics stay off unless you choose "Allow analytics" on the cookie banner. If you do, we use Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our public pages. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings button in the bottom right corner of every page.
Your rights and choices
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each email. To make a data request, email info@faciotech.org. We reply within five business days.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure data storage. However, no system is completely secure, and we encourage you to protect your own account credentials.
