Our history
Faciotech Foundation began as volunteer-led workshops in Accra and grew into a multidisciplinary foundation working alongside nonprofits, educators, and local leaders across Ghana and West Africa.
What started as a small group of technologists volunteering their weekends to teach digital basics to young people has become a structured foundation with programs spanning six focus areas. Along the way, we learned that technology adoption is not about the tools — it is about trust, relevance, and local ownership.
Milestones
Founded with a local-first mission
Faciotech launched to bridge access gaps with practical, community-led technology.
Expanded training partnerships
We scaled digital skills programs through schools, NGOs, and grassroots partners.
Launched community innovation pilots
New pilots focused on agriculture, civic access, and local entrepreneurship.
Looking ahead
Our next chapter focuses on deepening impact in existing communities while expanding into underserved areas. We are investing in open-source tools, regional facilitator networks, and research partnerships that will strengthen the evidence base for technology-led development.
Services
We build capacity, digital infrastructure, and program operations that communities can sustain.
