Incident Response Procedure

Purpose

Define the procedure for responding to safety incidents on the platform.

Incident Severity Levels

Response Procedure

Critical Incidents

  1. Immediately suspend accused party's account
  2. Notify safeguarding lead and country admin
  3. Preserve all evidence (session logs, messages, reports)
  4. Contact guardian (if minor involved)
  5. Report to relevant authorities if criminal activity suspected
  6. Provide support resources to affected party
  7. Document incident in safeguarding log

High / Medium / Low Incidents

  1. Review report and gather evidence
  2. Contact involved parties for statements
  3. Determine appropriate action based on severity and history
  4. Execute action (warning, content removal, suspension, ban)
  5. Notify affected parties of outcome
  6. Document in moderation log
  7. Follow up after 30 days to ensure resolution
